I'm going to bed tonight feeling a bit more exhausted than usual... why you might ask? Well, usually I'm exhausted being a mother of 4 kids 5 and under. But tonight I was "mother" to 9 kids ages 7 and under! My friend Shannon and I do date night swaps occasionally, and despite being totally worn out afterward, I really enjoy it! Her kids are soo adorable! I just love them! We had some crazy fun tonight at the Hudson Haven...
I was about to make dinner for everybody, but the thought of trying to come up with something everyone would eat led me to one solution... pizza!!
Daddy got quite the greeting when he came home! All the kids clobbered him the minute he walked in the door!
Welcome home Daddy!! Haha!
Baby Jacob and Baby Jacob sizing each other up. Our baby Jake is a couple months older but little Jake is catching up quickly!
The way these two interact with each other is entirely too cute.
Ok so Celeste has developed a big time crush on this sweet little boy Daniel. The other day she came home from school (they're in the same class) and she said thoughtfully, "Mommy, I think I'm gonna marry Daniel some day." "Oh really?" I responded. "When you're 40, right?" "Yup!" "Ok, I approve, I said... "Just don't tell Daddy."
And like her big sister, I suspect Charity might be developing a little crush of her own!

Two of our favorite families together. Makes me miss you guys and wish we had been there.
I've always worried about going into one of those shared babysitting things. Just because when people are doing them, they only have like one or two kids. But I think it is great that you are doing it anyway. Sometimes I sit my sisters kids, and then we have 7 too. But it is always worth it in the end... especially when it's your turn to go out!
How FUN!!!!!!
Oh my goodness, you are my new hero!!
PS Do you mind if I add a link to your blog to my link list?
Mammamia,
I wouldn't mind at all. :) I LOVE your blog. It's such a wonderful resource for busy moms to find opportunities to help others. I'll try to spread the word!
Thank you Nicole, we're so excited to have you on board! I have an email ready to send you, I just need an address! Thank you!
Way too cute!!! Glad to know you'll be in the family =D
No, you weren't the reason i posted that post. I found out who was offended from a little research...and then it felt like she was taking away the two people i actually made friends with from church. I know it sounds stupid. Sometimes... i'm a little jealous..i guess. I dunno.
Hey Nicole! Thanks for taking on the troops! It can get crazy---all the more reason to have a temple trip! They absolutely loved being at your house and tackling Jon! It doesn't hurt that you are a blast of a Mom to be around either! you rock!
