There were a few fun surprises today at the Hudson Haven...
Jon and the kids had a few pranks set up for me... they put soap on the door knobs, and they set up this bag full of packing peanuts that fell on my head when I opened the door!
Then there was this... I'll admit I wasn't too thrilled about this one. The rule for April Fools, is as long as it's not harmful, or hurtful, it's fair game... but I would call this one borderline because I seriously just about had a heart attack!
And then a mystery friend did this to the Burbage... I have no idea who it was, but it cracked us up!!! What a funny idea! The only clue they left was a marshmallow peep on the ground. Does anyone know who it could be??!
I had a few tricks up my sleeve too! ;)
The kids were absolutely thrilled to get chicken nuggets (toasted coconut donuts), mashed potatoes and gravy (ice cream with caramel sauce), and peas (chewy jolly ranchers) for dinner!! But the biggest hit was the juice that wouldn't come out of the straw because it was strawberry jello, (which worked out nicely when Charity accidently knocked it over!)
Here are a couple pictures of them trying to drink their special "juice"!

That is so funny! I knew your family would come up with a lot of crazy ideas today. I love it. You have an awesome family!
I am so glad you did so many fun and crazy things. I am usually pulling little pranks on my family all day long too....yesterday...not so much. I missed it.
Whoever did it, I'm willing to bet they have a little boy with blond hair and a love of cowboy boots.
At least, that's how the woman at Applebee's described the person who delivered the flowers for all of us that showed up for lady's night on Tuesday. That note was signed from "The Peeps," too. Someone's having a lot of fun. :)
That cracks me up! I would expect no less in the Hudson household. Good comebacks. I am going to try the jello thing on Matthew... That's the best!!!
I had a similar "peep attack" at our house...I'm thinking that Katie already figured out the "peepetrator".
Nicole, You Hudsons are the greatest! I am going to save that idea for dinner next year! I did "fishsticks" that had strawberry dip for ketchup, the kids had no idea until they bit into it. SO funny! If anyone wants girl scout cookies, I know Teresa had a delivery of about 10 cases yesterday. lol! I still like my flower. I feel special!
What a fun day full of jokes! Love the dinner itdea!
We also had our van written on with a peep laying beside it. Funny!! Who ever did it is quite clever!
You guys are hilarious!
I think I would have a heart attack, too if I saw a spider that big in my house.
Your dinner is awesome! The picture of baby Jakey is the best!
Love the jokes! The boys and I had fun setting up little things too, but alas! "E" was too clever to fall for any of them! Next year we'll have to get him good!
I went to the girls' night and got a flower too. Strange little delivery! Sounds like someone is on a blitz-o-fun! It wouldn't surprise me if it was someone seasoned in pulling pranks! maybe that someone got her own car to throw us all off?? ;)
How funny! You guys are the best! Love reading about your funny stuff.
