:( Poor Baby Jakey!
Here's Baby Jakey, who quickly recovered by cooling off his hand with a glob of ice cream. That's one way to do it!
Here's Baby Jakey wondering, "Is mommy seriously just going to let me just dig in like this?!!"
Here's Baby Jakey... lovin' it!
Here's Baby Jakey who was so exhausted from all his gluttonous partying that he fell asleep... standing up!

SO cute! Happy birthday, Baby Jakey!
Those sleeping pictures are adorable!
Little Bear did the same thing--reached straight into his candle. And it was his SECOND birthday...I guess he didn't remember the last birthday in this house (which was 6 months ago)
Happy Birthday Jakey!!! Have fun being one!
that is an amazing picture at the top of your blog. thanks for the quote too. amazing. I also appreciated your comment on my post on women doing more. Wanted to thank you, and that it brought me here. What a treat. Thanks.
How is it possible that Jakey is one year old. I can hardly believe it! I love his picture of him falling asleep standing up. The first birthday is always so overwhelming! Anna fell asleep right after hers as well. :o)
Jakey looks so cute. He looks like he had fun first birthday. He will always have a funny story to tell about his first birthday cake. I am sure the ice cream was a perfect solution to his boo boo. Happy Birthday Jakey!
sooo sweet! He is a doll baby! We loved watching the kids the other day. Happy birthday Jakey!
Michele,
Thanks again for watching them for us! I'm sure you especially enjoyed taking care of that blowout! :( I'm happy to return the favor at any time!
Wow! What a fun time and what a great shot of him sleeping. ;) He sure is such a happy baby!
what a doll! I love the standing up while asleep.
That is so freakin' hilarious! I love how kids can be going full tilt and then out of the blue sucumb to a fit of narkalepsy.
