Beautiful Mind

Celeste's favorite thing to do lately is build "airplanes" in the backyard with her friends. The girls have used up almost our entire tape supply, and our paper supply is also dwindling, but that's ok, because it's so good for their imaginations! They write out an itinerary for the airplane, and they draw pictures of all the passengers, and tape the pictures to the boxes. It's hilarious to watch them occupy themselves for hours with this simple activity. And it's interesting that although we have a ridiculous amount of expensive toys and movies in the playroom, their favorite thing is always to get outside and use their imaginations.


Did you hear that Grandmas? As much as we appreciate your generosity, the kids don't need any more toys. (But we could use some tape. ;))
