Could someone tell me what compels children to stick stuff up their noses? We had our first little mini-emergency here tonight. Charity came to me crying and she was pointing to her nose. I couldn't see anything up there, but she was in pain so I could tell it was serious. So after a few failed attempts to get the mystery object out, I called Daddy for help. And naturally, Daddy was able to dislodge it in one try... and it landed in her mouth. Ew. But she was so relieved! And so were we. I wonder what adventures lie ahead tomorrow...

That is so funny! Only because on Sunday our 5 year old put a bead in his ear! It was really stuck in there. We tried a lot of things to get it out and finally were able to flush it out. Of course this happened right as we were getting everyone ready for bed. I told him we might have to go to the doctor and then he started crying and my 7 year old started crying. I tell you, it was drama. I couldn't stop laughing. I think the nose would hurt worse...:) Thanks for the posts every day. It has been fun.
